The Domain Name Commission Limited (DNCL) has recently published an article on their website. This article affects some .NZ domain registrants, that are using a particular domain provider.
This DNCL article can be read at the following URL http://dnc.org.nz/story/dncl-directs-voyager-internet-247-hosting-breaches
This means that these .NZ domain registrants have got just a month to transfer their .NZ domains to another provider, or risk having their domain name cancelled.
Please note that this does not affect any of our own clients, if you already have your domain registered through us. If you have your domain registered elsewhere, you should read the DNCL article to see if you are affected.
If you are affected by this, the good news is that we can help you transfer your domains across to our registrar. Domain transfers through us are FREE, and all your existing domain name credit that has been applied to the domain, will be transferred across with the domain. Through our parent company, we have now been providing domain and web hosting services since 2001, making us one of NZ’s longest established providers. So you will have the confidence that we have a great deal of experience in the Domain and NZ Web Hosting market. We also offer some of the best value web hosting in New Zealand, with real NZ based servers, and plans that have unmetered diskspace and traffic.
To begin transferring your .NZ domain to us, all you need to do is ask your current domain provider to provide you with your Domains UDAI, and you can then transfer your domain automatically via our Domain Manager system at www.domains.loungenetwork.co.nz . If you don’t have your UDAI code, you will be able to find the contact details of your current domain provider here. If you have any questions or need any help getting your UDAI, please email us directly.
